IMS Festival – May 23 – 25 2018
As always, the International Music Summit (IMS), which this year celebrates its eleventh year of celebrating and showcasing all that is good and great about the electronic music scene.
Pioneered by Pete Tong, Danny Whittle, Ben Turner & Mark Netto. The summit this year has announced a staggering 69 new speakers who will appear at this year’s conference, held on May 23-25th at the Hard Rock Hotel.
The summit has been described by media as “the TED of music conferences”, and is an ever constant platform to help develop and launch initiatives which bring about positive change within the electronic music industry, not only in Ibiza but globally.
This year, delegates can expect to hear words of wisdom from artist guest speakers such as Deadmaus, Bedouin and Seth Troxler as well as management guidance and support from the team behind last year’s smash hit night Black Coffee, which blew everyone away with their residency at Hï Ibiza, bringing their own sounds of South Africa to Ibiza with resounding success.
The summit will even address the often ignored problem of sexual harassment and sexism which exists within the music industry, presented by leading female platform SHESAID.SO
As always, the IMS will come to a dramatic climax with a show stopping concert, boasting a dazzling cast of the world’s best DJ’s, including Sven Vath, Pete Tong , Guy Gerber and Danny Tenaglia to name but a few, bringing the Old Town to life with an extravaganza of the very best cutting edge electronic sounds to ensure the crowd are all on their feet!

Clockwork Orange 25th Anniversary – Friday 20 July – Mon 23 July 2018
Hold on to your hats, we’ve got a feeling that this one is going to go right off! The legendary Clockwork Orange parties were a significant part of many people’s ‘ golden years’ in Ibiza, and this summer they are celebrating their 25th anniversary (yes it DOES make us feel old!)
However, we are all still young at heart, and at Ibiza unlocked we simply cannot wait to celebrate with our old friends at Clockwork and their plans are promising us the fiesta to end all fiestas!
Kicking off at the outdoor arena of Benimussa Park, Clock Stock will be giving revellers the chance to dance the day away under the glorious Ibiza skies. An uplifting soundtrack provided by Clockwork founders and long term friends of Ibiza unlocked, Danny Gould & Andy Manston grace the decks along with Paul Oakenfold, Seb Fontaine, Tall Pall, Terry Farley, Lisa Loud, Brandon Block & Alex P plus many more special guests that will keep the party going all weekend.
The festivities will continue at their spiritual and original home of Es Paradis, (where else?) partygoers can relive their memories of old with classic tunes from some of the Clockwork original Djs will keep you dancing into the early hours….
Hot on the Ibiza grapevine this week is the whisper that Cream, the longest running party on the island may well be jumping ship from their long term home at Amnesia.. But the question everyone is asking is where to… will they plump for the recently revamped tempation of the double cherries, or take things to a Hïgher level.. We are all waiting with baited breath to find out, but rest assured, as soon as we know, you will too!
The latest exciting news is that Ushuaia announce their grand opening party weekend. Luciano & friends will host Saturday 26th May and the mighty Fatboy Slim plays on the Sunday. What more could you ask for????
